I’m in 2 newspapers at once… (!)
ok, so… yeah, I have three pictures of me at Works/San Jos?© in the San Jose Mercury News, and a nice big photo of the piece I painted for the works member show in the Silicon Valley Metro… both hit the news stands within 3 days of each other.

Urban Geography: Best in show!
I won best in show for the unjuried portion of Heart of Chaos‘ Urban Geography show! There were a lot of great artists in the show, and I’m very grateful to have been awarded this honor. Key events besides the accolades were meeting Miguel Machuca, who is a very talented abstract painter in a very similar vein as myself, and doing a live painting demo. Thanks to Heart of Chaos and Brooks College for a great night.
Wayne Jiang

Wayne Jiang is one of the best painters I know. I was just thinking the other night that I need to link up to his site from here, so.. I have.
The piece depicted above is especially dear to me as it reminds me of the neighborhood I used to live in.
